Local Flavors is a farm-to-table series connecting Illinois growers and producers with local restaurants. Participating restaurants agree to offer a special lunch or dinner menu item (or items) highlighting fresh, seasonal, locally produced foods. The series opens new markets for local farmers, giving them a chance to grow; gives restaurants an opportunity to work with local farmers and receive high quality products; and makes local food more accessible to the public.
