Fall is a great time for a wardrobe and home refresh. At Connections you can update your look while helping a great cause – Courage Connection, which provides shelter and services to domestic violence victims and to homeless women and children.

Connections is the new name for Transitions Thrift Store. When The Center for Women in Transition became Courage Connection in June, Transitions changed its name to Connections. We are still 100% local. All proceeds benefit local programs and local people – homeless women and children and victims of domestic violence.
Expanded boutique space and offerings. We provide a boutique thrift shopping experience. Clothing shoppers will find everything from kids clothes to formal gowns – all at a fraction of the price of new, all in amazing condition. No digging through bins or picking over excessively worn-out items. We stock top-quality donated items – including furniture and one-of-a-kind home décor pieces.
Jobs training program on-site.Our Employability Development Program helps people re-enter the workforce. We provide retail training and job search assistance to eligible clients from our shelters and to community members who are on parole or probation. Jobs training is another way Connections helps our local community.
Donation procedure. Donations are accepted during store hours – Monday-Friday, 10-6; Saturdays 9-5. We accept clean, gently used clothing (women’s, men’s, children), furniture, and household/home décor items. Furniture pick-up is available. Please contact store@courageconnection.org for more information and please attach a picture of the item you wish to donate to see if it can be accepted. A complete list of accepted items can be found on our website – www.courageconnection.org
