"Monty Python's Spamalot"
Thu, Apr 17, 2014 starting at 7:30 PM - Sat, May 03, 2014 starting at 7:30 PM
Lovingly ripped off from the classic film comedy Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Spamalot retells the legend of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table and features a bevy of beautiful showgirls, as well as cows, killer rabbits, and French people. Winner of the Tony Award for best musical, some of Spamalot’s show-stopping musical numbers include He Is Not Dead Yet, Find Your Grail, and Always Look on the Bright Side of Life!
Dallas Street directs a cast of local community actors that features Michael Steen as King Arthur, Marah Sotelo as The Lady of the Lake, Joe Barlow, Warren Garver, Eugene Peppers, and Mike Prosise as Sirs Robin, Bedevere, Galahad, and Lancelot, respectively, and Aaron Clark as Arthur’s horse, Patsy. The ensemble of character actors is filled out by Harrison Austin, Malia Andrus, Kim Ferguson, Lauren Smith, Whitney Havice, Jace Jameson, Ashley Johnson, Justin Klett, Evan Seggebruch, Jelinda Smith, and Alexx Valdez.
Performances of Spamalot are April 17, 18, 19, 25, 26, at 7:30 p.m., Sunday, April 27 at 3 p.m. and May 1, 2, 3 at 7:30 p.m.
Ticket prices are $14 for adults, $12 for students and seniors (55+), and only $10 each for groups of 15 or more. Youth tickets for those 12 and under are $8, although parents should be warned that Spamalot contains some mild language and general Pythonesque naughtiness. Feel free to inquire about appropriateness by emailing email@example.com.
