Champaign, Ill. - Let's help PetNet find Yoshi a Furever Family!
*There are plenty of ways to help PetNet! Liking and sharing our posts, attending/volunteering at events, fostering, donating, helping to transport pets to vet appointments are all great examples. We have an Amazon wish list FULL of items we need to help set our foster pets up for success: https://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/wishlist/LQOIK5QSM50F/ref=topnav_lists_1
*PetNet saw a need to help local animals. We’ve been working to build up a network of foster homes so that pets can be in a home environment while they’re waiting for their forever homes. We don’t see ourselves as competitors to other rescue groups; in the pet rescue world, we all have to work together. There are just different niches of need.
*Fostering an animal in need is very rewarding. We are extremely grateful to our network that voluntarily opens their homes to animals in need. Some cases are easy, while others require more patience and attention. Some animals are adopted in a matter of days while others may take months. Every animal in unique and therefore so is their foster experience. Sometimes when an animal gets adopted it can be hard to let them go (each of us has experienced that more than once!), but our fosters know that the successful adoption of one animal means that there is room for another to be saved.
The FOREth of July golf outing at Railside Golf Course in Gibson City chose us as their receiving charity this year! The event, Pars for Paws, will be scheduled around the 4th of July.
*We just had our May fundraiser night at Potbelly, but we'll be back in June!
*We're planning a Kids Night In/Parents Night Out event
