Cross County Chase Leads to Arrest

    An East Lynn man faces multiple charges after leading police on a cross-county chase starting in Vermilion County. 25-year old Michael Rogers was arrested after crashing a stolen pick-up into a telephone pole within Milford Village limits.
    Multiple law enforcement agencies were involved in the arrest including Iroquois and Vermilion Counties Sheriff's Offices, Milford Police Department, the Vermilion Metropolitan Enforcement Group and the FBI.
    Rogers was wanted on a warrant in Iroquois County for a November burglary and theft of farm property in Milford. He was also wanted on two warrants in Vermilion County for burglary and driving with a revoked license.
    Rogers is also charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, aggravated fleeing and eluding a police officer, plus aggravated reckless driving and criminal damage to property.
