Delivery driver robbed at gunpoint

CHAMPAIGN -- Police are investigating an armed robbery. It happened Monday, November 11, about 11 pm, in the 2500-block of West Springfield, at Stonegate Apartments.

The victim was a delivery driver for a sandwich shop who was held up at gunpoint after trying to make his delivery. He told police two black men, wearing ski masks and puffy, ski jackets approached him.

One put a gun to his side, demanded he leave the food and hand over any money. Both suspects are believed to be in their mid-20's.

The first is 6'4", 200 lbs., with a lean build. He was wearing a white jacket. The second suspect is 5'11", 180 lbs., with an average build. He was wearing a black jacket with fur-lined hood. He was carrying the revolver.
