RIVERTON -- Police are investigating an expensive case of vandalism. It happened in the 9200-block of Barclay Road, between July 1 and September 14.

Authorities say a vehicle or multiple vehicles drove through a cornfield causing $25,000 in damage. Investigators say it probably happened earlier in the season due to stalk development.

It's considered a felony because of the extent of damage done to the property.
