Police look for information on 2 armed robberies

DECATUR -- Police are investigating two armed robberies. They're asking for the public's help with any information.

The first happened about 2:30 am, January 8, at the Circle K Gas Station, in the 3700-block of North Woodford. A suspect entered the business with a knife and demanded money.

He's described as a black man, 5'8" - 5'10", 200 - 200 lbs., and a goatee. He was wearing a black ski mask, hooded sweatshirt, white t-shirt underneath, dark pants and white tennis shoes.

The second happened about 10:30 pm, January 26, at the Huck's Gas Station, in the 200-block of North 22nd. The suspect used a knife to demand money from the clerk.

He's described as a black man, 5'11" - 6', 19 - 21 years old, with a muscular build. He was wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt, green bandana, black jeans and black boots.
