Residential burglary investigated

OGDEN -- The Champaign County Sheriff's Office is investigating a residential burglary. It happened Wednesday, October 30, between 11:20 am and 2:45 pm. A home in the 2400-block of County Road 1700-North in Ogden Township was broken into.

Thieves forced their way into the home and took multiple items including two handguns; a black, 4th Generation iPad; black 32" Sylvania HDTV; black 26" Phillips flat screen TV; gray Toshiba Satellite Pro L750 laptop computer; gift cards; DVD's and two rings. The total value of items taken is more than $1,500.
