CHAMPAIGN -- Police hope someone will recognize the picture of a suspect accused of using a stolen credit card. Authorities say she's got blonde or light brown hair and was seen at several local businesses using the card in question.
Police say she was also a 4-door, dark Buick Le Sebre. The card was used at Thornton's Gas, Dollar General, CVS Pharmacy and Walgreens. They were all in the area of Mattis and Springfield Avenue.
Police say the card was taken out of a backpack at the Refinery Gym at 2302 West John Street on Wednesday, May 15. The owner admits, she didn't lock the locker when she went to work out. The stolen credit card was used the same day. Police remind everyone to lock up your valuables when at a gym or leave them at home.
Ben Newell with the Champaign Police Department says, "If you see anyone suspicious, obviously appears to be checking bags, checking lockers, report that activity to the manager. Or call 911. Call the police and we'll come check it out ourselves."
