Investigators say she and another woman were caught on camera shoplifting at Bergner's at Marketplace Mall, Sunday, January 27. A loss-prevention associate stopped the pair outside the store. That's when she was punched in the mouth and the two took off. One has been identified as police look for the other.

Ben Newell with Champaign Police said the worker talked to both woman.

"The loss-prevention associate said, 'I have you on surveillance cameras doing this. I know you have concealed merchandise under the clothes you're currently wearing.'"

Newell says that's when the two suspects put up a fight. In the confrontation, the suspects denied taking stuff. Police say they ran off toward Hobby Lobby and nearby apartments.
