He's a co-owner of the Christie Clinic Ililnois Marathon, co-owner of Body and Sole Sports, and head women's basketball coach at Parkland College.
His days are busy, but he goes through each one with a smile.
He starts every morning by walking his dogs, dropping them off, then heading back outside for a run.
After his run, he laces his shoes back up to head into Body and Sole Sports.
He's a co-owner of the sports store and has been with the company for 34 years.
He became an owner three years ago.
So, as race day gets closer, he has a lot of meetings to go to, errands to run, and decisions to make.
So when we asked him which of his three jobs he would choose if he could only have just one, he reluctantly responded that basketball is his first love and coaching is his true passion.
He says he couldn't do it without help.
That's why no matter what his day brings, it always ends in the same way.
His schedule now is just getting busier, his basketball team won their game this weekend and is headed to nationals.
Plus, the marathon is now less than two months away.
