DECATUR -- One of the largest farm shows in the nation is coming to town. The 60th Annual Farm Progress Show opens next week.

It's a chance to see the very latest in Ag technology. But, this year, the show had to cancel field demonstrations. A rainy spring and cool summer delayed planting.

Still, organizers say there's no shortage of things to see with a record 600 exhibits. The show opens Tuesday and runs through Thursday.

DECATUR -- The State Fair may be coming to an end, but set up for the Farm Progress Show is just beginning. Organizers are prepping for the biggest turnout ever.

More than 100 extra companies signed up this year, but they didn't have enough space, so a new entrance was added near the west parking lot. It's the most demand organizers have ever seen.

The show kicks off August 27.
