SPRINGFIELD -- A candidate who hopes to be our next governor is getting support from someone who used to hold the seat. State Senator Kirk Dillard (R) announces his bid Monday.
He's going on a statewide two-day tour. Former governor Jim Edgar will join him at his stop in Decatur Monday night. Dillard is the fourth republican to join the race.
