ILLINOIS -- There could be changes coming to workers' compensation. The board in charge of insurance rates has proposed a reduction in workers compensation payments.

This is the third year in a row the National Council on Compensation Insurance has requested lowering the rate. The total savings to businesses since the rates started to be reduced will be up around $460 million.
