Jesse White makes history

SPRINGFIELD -- Friday was the last day for legislation. The day also made history. Jesse White set a record as Illinois' longest serving Secretary of State.

White began his first term in January of 1999. He took over the longest tenure from James Rose. White turns 80 at the end of June.
