ILLINOIS -- Hunters could catch a break if an NRA lobbyist gets his way. Todd Vandermyde, who lobbies for the National Rifle Association, is working to change a state law after being fined for breaking it.

Vandermyde was caught carrying an uncased crossbow on private property last year. He's pushing for a bill to loosen restrictions on transporting them. He says he hopes it will prevent policing on private property.
