SPRINGFIELD -- A new federal grant could help keep millions of your tax dollars from ending up in the wrong hands. The state agency responsible for unemployment benefits is getting more than $2-million to help fight fraud.

The money will allow the agency to try out new ways of catching mistakes. In the past two years, the state's recovered nearly a quarter-billion dollars from people who were getting unemployment checks illegally.
