"Portrait of a Soldier" exhibit in Capital City

SPRINGFIELD -- Portraits of hundreds of fallen soldiers from Illinois are on display this week. The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum is hosting "Portrait of a Soldier" traveling exhibit.

The hand-drawn portraits are of military personnel who lost their lives during the war on terror. The works are by artist Cameron Schilling, of Mattoon, who began drawing them in August 2004. The exhibit are on display until Friday, May 31.
