State to get $12-million from lawsuit settlement

SPRINGFIELD -- The state's getting some extra cash thanks to a lawsuit settlement. The Attorney General's office sued Ranbaxy, a drug manufacturer.

It recently agreed to pay Illinois $12-million. The company was accused of selling diluted drugs and submitting false claims to state and federal Medicaid programs.
