SPRINGFIELD -- State lawmakers are set to return to the Capitol City next week. Already there's talk of what will be the big ticket items during spring session.

Several tax issues could surface including the scheduled rollback of the state's temporary income tax. It's set to return to 3.75% from 5% where it is currently.

There's also the idea of a graduated income tax. Some think it could help the state.

Plus, there's the issue of what to do about tax breaks for several large companies. ADM, Univar and Office Max have all requested incentives for doing business in the state, but lawmakers adjourned last fall without a resolution.
