SPRINGFIELD -- Many workers support one of Governor Quinn's new proposals. He wants every worker in Illinois to earn paid sick time.

Quinn claims 43% of all workers in the state don't get them. He says employers should give one hour of sick time for every 40-hours worked. It would provide a minimum of two days a year.

It's a plan low-wage worker and single mom, Lessie Young, is all for. Young says she's had to call in to work a few times to stay home with her sick son, but taking off led to a smaller paycheck, which made her current situation even harder.
