4-year old named Kids' Ambassador

WAVERLY -- A 4-year old boy got quite the honor Monday. Jordan Planitz was named the Children's Miracle Network's 2013 Illinois Kid Champion.

Jordan has a rare terminal condition which causes his brain to grow faster than his skull. As Champion, Jordan will be an ambassador for all the kids treated by the Children's Miracle Network.

As Kid Champion, Jordan will travel to Orlando and Washington D.C. in October. While in D.C., he'll get a chance to meet the president.
