MCLEANSBORO -- Investigators are trying to determine the cause of a fatal crash in southern Illinois. It happened in Hamilton County, about 100 miles south of Effingham.

Five people were killed when a 49-year old driver lost control of his car. It went airborne and rolled several times.

Neighbors say accidents on the road are common and they hope something will now finally get done. Police say it's likely the driver swerved to avoid a deer causing him to lose control.
