RANTOUL -- Hundreds of Illinois students were given a second chance and they made the most of it. Saturday was the Lincoln's Challenge Academy commencement.

Nearly 260 former high school dropouts graduated from the Illinois National Guard Youth Program. The ceremony was at Rantoul High School.

The cadets went through a tough, 22-week program to graduate. Many cadets have graduated with scholarships and are now college-bound.
