Accident stalls traffic

CHAMPAIGN COUNTY -- A semi driver faces charges after his truck flipped over on the interstate. State police say Leamon Hall was getting onto I-57 from I-74 when his semi overturned on the ramp.

It hit another truck, causing it to flip as well. The wreck left traffic at a standstill for nearly an hour. Hall was taken to the hospital. No word on his condition. Police say he was cited for driving too fast.

CHAMPAIGN COUNTY -- Traffic was rerouted for several hours after two semis flipped over on I-57. It happened late Monday afternoon between I-72 and I-74.

It brought traffic to a standstill, and backed up other cars on I-74 as people tried to get home after work.

The accident is still under investigation. One person was taken to the hospital. No word on a condition.
