CHILLICOTHE -- A Central Illinois man is heading to that town to help with disaster relief. John Potts will spend the next three weeks in Arizona to oversee a group of Red Cross volunteers.

He's helped with several disasters since his first deployment nearly a decade ago. But, he says this one will be very different than anything he's ever done.

So far, that fire has burned more than 8,000 acres and damaged 114 structures. Crews say it's 80% contained.
