Arrests Made in Weapons Offenses

DECATUR -- Police make two arrests in separate weapons-related incidents. Both happened Sunday.
    The first happened about 3 pm in the area of Van Dyke and Marietta. Officers responded to a "shots fired" call. Two suspects fled after police tried to stop their vehicle which matched information they had received. One suspect was caught and a gun was recovered. No victims were ever reported.
    The second happened about 8 pm near the 1400-block of N. Union. Officers heard gunshots and found two subjects on the porch of a home. One ran into the house, but was caught by police. A gun was found outside a window of the home, while marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found inside.
