CHAMPAIGN -- A new after-school program is teaching kids about art. It's called Artspeak and runs through 40-North.

Kids from Edison Middle School meet every Thursday at the I.D.E.A. Store to put their creative side to the test. Most recently, they've been working on C-U on Board.

It's a project which has the students designing their own skateboard decks. Once they're done, they'll be put on display in Champaign-Urbana.

40-North hopes to expand the Artspeak project into other schools and classes, but they need more skateboards first.
