DECATUR -- Some students had an out-of-this-world guest Tuesday. Dennis Lab Middle School welcomed astronaut Fred Haise. He's one of only 24 people to have flown an Apollo mission.

The 80-year old was supposed to walk on the moon during his Apollo 13 flight, but an explosion to the command module canceled it. Haise says, even though we aren't going to the moon, kids still get excited about space.

Haise says he speaks to school kids several times a month, especially near his home in Houston, TX. He says he hopes we can return to the moon one day.
