SPRINGFIELD -- The State Auditor General pleaded guilty in court Thursday. Bill Holland was arrested last month. A state trooper pulled him over for improper lane usage.

The police report says he had a strong smell of alcohol on his breath, glassy, blood-shot eyes and failed all field sobriety tests. Holland refused a breathalyzer chemical test on the scene.

Holland was sentenced to a year of court supervision. He paid $1,555 in court fees and fines. He'll also complete driver's training and alcohol counseling.
