Police checked the homes of more than 250 registered sex offenders. Officers looked to see if they were actually living at the addresses. 14 people were found to be non-compliant; another four were arrested for registration violations.
Police say they do several sweeps each year to make sure the public, especially children, are safe from sexual predators. That's not all. Nearly 60 other offenders are now under investigation because of the sweep.
