UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS -- Vet students are treating some special cats. They are baby bobcats. Someone found two of them on a freight train about an hour outside Urbana. When the mother never showed, they called Vet Med.

Since then, the female cubs, both about six to eight weeks old, have gotten check-ups, baths and plenty of food. They each weigh about one pound right now but will grow to be about 40 pounds.

The cubs will stay at the UI clinic until they are a little bit older. Then they will transferred to another facility in charge of releasing them back into the wild.
