CHAMPAIGN -- Busey Bank is teaching teens how to balance their budgets. Anyone can stop by and get a free credit report consultation. It's part of "Get Smart About Credit Day."

It's happening all around the country. Experts say fewer than half of teens understand how credit cards work. That's why banks are reaching out to the younger generation. Busey Bank will offer the free consultations throughout the year.
