This year, they cooked up about 600 lbs. of pasta. On top of that, almost 1,200 lbs. of tomatoes for sauce. All of it will be served Friday and Saturday for racers in this year's marathon.
Besides pasta, the menu includes salad, bread and a choice of white chocolate bread pudding or chocolate chip banana bread. It's a meal they started preparing more than two weeks ago, but the chefs at Biaggi's say it's not a stressful job. It's fun as long as you keep a good attitude.
Sous chef, Zachary Schweig, says they'll feed about 1,000 people on Friday and 10,000 Saturday after the race. They also have to feed about 600 people at their restaurant.
