PAXTON -- A bus company was given the OK to file lawsuits against UI students Tuesday. The owner of Suburban Express had originally filed 124 lawsuits against student passengers. He says they used faulty tickets and cheated the system.

After those students fought back on social media, the company dismissed most of the cases earlier this year. But Tuesday, a Ford County court ruled the cases could be refiled. In June, the owner said he planned to file lawsuits in Champaign County, too.
