TOLONO -- A Champaign County woman says she's had enough of doing business in the state, so she's leaving town. Kim Barrow used to have a restaurant in town. She's also appeared on the 3-Minute Grill on WCIA-3's Morning Show. But now, she has her sights set on Tennessee.

Her restaurant, Taco Shack, was where she created "Darn Good Salsa" in 2009. She'd sell it at farmers' markets in the area, but she says it's gotten too expensive. So, she's decided to make a move.

Barrow says high taxes can hurt even more for small business owners. She's going where there isn't any state income tax at all.

She says she plans to start selling at farmers' markets there and hopefully make it into some stores soon. Barrow says she's spoken with other business owners who say they wish they could leave because of greater opportunities outside Illinois, but for one reason or another just can't.
