CHAMPAIGN -- Students at Centennial are linking the community to those in need through a fundraiser.  Each year, the high school students hold a dance marathon to raise money for Children's Miracle Network.

Thursday, they made paper chains for a pep rally. Each link in the chain represents the amount of money raised in a Penny War Fundraiser they held this week.

Volunteer Grace Khachaturian said, "We decided that this would be a really good, visual way for people to see the actions to raise money for Children's Miracle Network."

The poster child for Children's Miracle Network will be at the school Friday.
