CHAMPAIGN -- People are trying to spread some Christmas cheer with a little help from Old Saint Nick.
The Christmas Carolers Choir, along with Santa, visited Inman Place tonight. It's an assisted living center.
The group travels around the county to several places like these to sing for seniors and their families.
They belted out all the classics like Silent Night, Jingles Bells, and more. Organizers say it's the perfect escape from all the holiday stress.
"When we go to the assisted living facilities and you see the looks in everyone's eyes, you can tell that we're bringing the gift of caring to them. And it's wonderful. We leave with much more than what we came with," said organizer Jimmy Bean.
The caroling tour continues tomorrow
night. The choir will be singing at the Clark Lindsey Village in Urbana.
