City to pay settlement for wrongful conviction

EDGAR COUNTY -- An area city will pay thousand of dollars for its involvement in the wrongful conviction of Randy Steidl. He spent 17-years behind bars for the murder of Dyke and Karen Rhodes.

His conviction was overturned and he sued the city of Paris. It will now pay him $325,000 as just part of a more than $3 million settlement.
