SPRINGFIELD -- Governor Quinn is looking into clemency petitions for two men who were wrongfully accused of a double murder.

Dyke and Karen Rhoads were murdered in their Paris home in 1986. An investigator sent the Governor evidence that a serial killer on death row in Texas committed the crime.

Randy Steidl and Herb Whitlock spent decades in prison for the crime, but were later released. Quinn's office says he's received that evidence and will review it.
