ILLINOIS -- Air traffic control towers in Decatur and Bloomington will stay open longer than expected. The FAA announced Friday it will push back the closing date to June 15. It applies to the 150-towers around the country.

The government is using the extra time to deal with its legal battle. Bloomington's airport is part of a group suing the FAA to stop the closures.
