CHAMPAIGN -- A college golf team is getting some big recognition after qualifying for the national championships. The Parkland team took a picture after making the cut Monday. They're all "Dufnering." The stance was made famous by Jason Dufner, after he was photographed slouched against a wall during an event. Since then, the picture has gone viral. It got picked up by Deadspin earlier this week. Now it's also on the Golf Channel's website.

"Coach was just like, after we won, 'Hey, I want you guys to Dufner in front of this bench,' so we all did," said Parkland sophomore Lyle Burns.

"The next thing you know, it's on his Facebook and after that it's on the Golf Channel and Twitter and stuff so it's kind of funny," said Parkland sophomore Austin Egbers. "I liked it but I didn't think it would become this popular that fast."

"It's nice that people know we have a good, strong program out there and are able to help out some of those other players locally too," said Parkland golf head coach Zachary McNabney.

The team heads to nationals in two weeks. Golf Channel writers say they can't wait to see how the Cobras celebrate if they win there.
