College savings program to restart

URBANA -- A controversial college savings program is starting back up. College Illinois announced it will start accepting new families in October.

The tuition savings plan shut down for a year after an investigation found it was underfunded because of some bad investments. The program is still 30% in the red, but lawmakers are working on a plan to fix it.
