ST. JOSEPH -- A week ago, the shelves of this food pantry were almost bare, but the community didn't let them stay that way. The St. Joseph Church of Christ now has food in its pantry.

Last week, there wasn't enough to go around. The church called out to the community for help. The church is grateful for the donations, but say they always need more.

"A big thank you to those that have been coming out and have seen the news broadcast and made it a point to leave their home to come out here and give," said senior minister Vincent Santanelli. "Even some outside the community have done that, so thank you for that, but just keep it coming."

The church says it has 40 families to feed each month, and that number is growing. They're happy to see people responding to the need.
