McLEAN COUNTY -- The coroner has ruled the death of a 3-year old as homicide. Emergency personnel responded to a call of a child seizing in the 200-block of Cambridge, in Normal, in March. Robbie Cramer was taken to the hospital where he died.

The coroner ruled his death was due to bacterial sepsis and peritonitis due to cuts and bruising to his intestines determined to be from blunt trauma. Days after Robbie's death, 23-year old Nicholas Compton was arrested and charged with three counts of murder and one count of aggravated domestic battery. Police say he struck the boy in the abdomen.
