CHAMPAIGN -- The Corvette show is over and drivers are heading home, but the show managed to pump millions of dollars into the local economy.

Last year's show had 25,000 participants. This year there were even more. Organizers are still crunching the numbers, but most of the hotels in the county sold out. The increased foot traffic was a win-win for businesses in Champaign County.

"It was good for the community," said President and CEO of Champaign County Convention and Visitor's Bureau, Jayne DeLuce. "It was great for everybody to see our community and have a really good show."

More than 4,000 Corvettes drove through town this weekend.
