CHAMPAIGN COUNTY -- How much time and effort does it take to pull off an election day like Tuesday's primary? Champaign County Clerk Gordy Hulten found out.

He used a tracking app on his phone to record how many miles he traveled and how much time he was moving. The results? Hulten drove more than 200 miles throughout the county and was in motion for more than nine hours.

All those miles and time spent driving were to meet with voters and check on polling equipment. Hulten stopped by Mahomet, Ogden and Gifford, just to name a few.
