The judges and sheriff's from the six counties got an advisory and after seeing what the national weather service had in store, they collectively closed the courthouses and sheriff's offices.
They say Mondays are usually their busiest day of the week. People travel from all over to go to court. In fact sometimes theres a line outside the door and to keep people safe they decided to shut down.
"It's miserably cold, your in danger on the road and if you get stuck you are going to put responders at risk," says Sheriff Dan Walsh.
A decision will be made on Monday to determine whether or not the courts and sheriff's office will be open on Tuesday.
