Teachers went on strike two years ago. Now, the school board is trying to force them to come to the bargaining table. It's something the DEA says it's more than willing to do.
Both sides exchanged proposals in April. Since then, talks have broken down.
The DEA doesn't expect the situation to be resolved before the start of the new school year. Its president says it will be "business as usual" as soon as kids are back in class.
